I have an idea for a new drink. Where can I find a sample business plan for a company that has already done this (like an energy drink company). I don’t want to reinvent the wheel.
Thanks, Justin
The Small Business Administration can help you with that. www.sba.gov Also, you can search the web for sample business plans and use what parts that you need from them.

can anyone recommend a reliable household vacuum sealer suitable for a very very small scale startup business packaging something very similar to beef jerky?
Reliability is a must as I live 9 months of the year on a small island in the philippines, where i intend to use this sealer on a daily basis. I am also trying to keep initial cost price as low as feasibly possible cos i dont even know if this business will work or not.
As for availability, i am in Denmark for next 11 weeks, after that will be in pines. also have family in SA and UK if good products are available there.
Thanks in advance
Seal a Meal, you can buy it at Walmart, Walmart also makes bags that are cheaper than the seal a meal bags. I have one of my on and it seals great.

I am looking into starting my own direct selling business, but I am low on cash and need only about $250 for startup costs. I’m thinking about asking my mom to borrow the money and pay her back, but I don’t really know how to ask her. I know she will lend it to me without question but I’m still kind of nervous to ask her. Any suggestions on how to ask?
I’m looking to start up as a consultant for Pure Romance…the $250 covers product costs for one of their kits. I know from personal experience their products are expensive…so this is actually a good deal.
Are you actually starting your own company or becoming a rep or consultant with a company? $250 seems like a lot of money to get started with a direct sales company. My company only required $29.
Sometimes you have to spend money to make money so if you’re serious about your investment and working your business then ask for the loan and make sure you pay it back ASAP. Don’t let fear hold you back.
