I am trying to find a LEGITIMATE business from home. As of June I will have two children and simply cannot afford daycare for both. It seems that everything I have been able to find tells me to send anywhere from $30 to $500 just for the information to start. I know a business will take some startup capital, but I don't think I should have to pay just for more information on a company…. Any ideas?
Go to the library , there is a reference book called the thomas register of american manufacturers. Once you find a product you love ,put it on ebay or a website. advertise the hell out of it for free. and you are well ,well on your way. Hope this helped.

I am looking to start a business in the North Georgia area. I have been in the construction related industry for 15 years. It seems every direction I go has market saturation. I am not rich so we are talking low startup cost. I am not looking for home based, this is more of a growth situation. Any ideas of a service or retail that is up and comming? Prefer construction related but all options are open.
this is my opion when you check in to this business put a survey out and ask the people what they would like to see in there area what kind of retail and what would interest them to find in the store
there needs.and you also have to look at the economy of your area were you are siting up your business and what generate of people that live there and what kind of budget those family live on and how much can they afford to spend on your product ounce you build your business in that area to support there need
i think electronic and computer are the way of the future to help people live there live more easier but if you went this way then may be you could think of having training program to help people out there that doesn't under stand a lot about the new technology that out there availability to them that what i would do.
Been in business since April 08 but made no money because I do not have the capital to get started. I have prototypes and have spent over 6400 hours putting this business together. Who do I sell to and where? I don’t want this to go to waste.

Since you haven’t given any detail on what business you have, you are not likely to get a response.
However, I’d suggest you take a course offered by the small business administration before you give up on your idea. You will meet some folks that can help you out.
